Swinging Travel in Singapore - May 3, 2012, 3:39pm

Our Travel in Singapore, always fun when with the Family! Visit our NEW Philippines Travel Mom Website Blog Apr. 29 - Day 01: Left Manila via Jetstar Asia Airlines at 10:30am for our travel in Singapore. Being a budget travel and tours adventure package,  we had to buy our Singaporean hot meals worth S$10.00 and soda which costs an additional S$5.00. Airline mineral water costs $4.00 Arrived in Singapore at 2:05pm and was out of the JetStar plane by 2:15pm.  Upon arrival at Terminal 1 of Singapore Changi airport, we passed from the airline tube towards the airport  security check. As per written directions of Asia Travel in Singapore, we took the airport skytrain to Terminal 2 for our Immigration check and clearance.  Upon reaching Terminal 2 we proceeded to the Immigration desk. The Immigration officer asked us  if we  have any checked in luggage. The Singaporean Immigration officer looked at our disembarkation card and when she saw that we flew via Jetstar, she told us to go back to Terminal 1 to claim our luggage.[gallery] My son went back to Changi Terminal 1 via skytrain while I stayed and waited at Terminal 2.  My son went back to Terminal 2 via skytrain and told us that we have to go back to Terminal 1 for our Immigration exit. The entire family then  rushed back because the Asia Travel in Singapore tourist bus will be picking us up and will only wait for 30 minutes. Visit our NEW Philippines Travel Mom Website Blog We went back to the Singapore immigration desk of Terminal 1 and collected our luggage.  We proceeded at Asia Travel in Singapore Desk at 3:20pm. They called up their main office and advised us to wait for 30 minutes. For me, a tour without a happy confusion is not a tour at all. It's what travelling is really all about.  Of all the Singapore tour and travel agencies I have talked with,  Asia Travel is one of those I can recommend. We arrived and checked in at YMCA Hotel at Orchard Road. This 3 star travellers' bed and breakfast hotel is centrally located infront of a bus stop and just a 50 meter walk to the MRT or MTR subway station. We left the hotel at 6pm and went to our Singapore Flyer adventure, a big capsule ferris wheel ride  for 40 minutes with a breathtaking but peaceful view of the Singapore skyline. I believe that the Singapore Flyer was patterened after the London Eye in England. After the Singapore Flyer, we strolled along the Singapore F1 race track towards Gluttons Bay. The Singapore dining experience at an open area fast food type ambiance is a true delight for tourists. We had rice, crabs, shrimps, beef and an array of fresh salad with a romantic view of the fireworks at Marina Bay Sands. Visit our NEW Philippines Travel Mom Website Blog

This ends our Day 1 Travel in Singapore.
